My wife really likes this coat. It seems well made, is comfortable and looks nice. It, like a lot of women''s clothing, runs small. It seems like designers think women want to wear tight clothing instead of being comfortable. She normally wears a med/large but ordered an XL. It fits her comfortably with a little room for layering, a Large would have been too snug.
This was a great find, truly. I was looking for an insulated jacket that wasn't bulky, but has the look of a down jacket. Too many of the down type jackets are so puffy that they make you look silly. Overstuffed is great I suppose if you are in the snow, but when you simply want to go out and about I don't need all the extra weight of a heavy jacket. This product is just that, a great casual jacket. It has the feel of a down jacket, but without all the padding. The shape is fitted which has a fantastic look when on. For comparison, I am a size 6 and ordered a small (product description doesn't address size #s) which fits perfectly. I love the length which goes to about mid-thigh. Has nice pockets that zipper and the jacket has both a zipper and snaps (zipper goes to the top of the collar). The hood is large, it will completely cover your head and you can tighten the hood around your face with the drawstring toggle. The hood can be removed, it is zippered on. The inside has a simple liner with no inside compartments, the collar inside is lined with fleece. This jacket is perfect for those cool days, with a scarf it will provide the needed warmth. If you are looking for something that is casual yet trendy and will keep you warm, this jacket is for you. Definitely recommended!
