310T Matte Recycled Nylon: From Ocean Waste to Everyday Warmth

To reduce waste and protect the planet, orolay designs its products according to the 3R sustainability principles: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. In this series, we've chosen to use 310T matte recycled nylon fabric, a material that embodies our commitment to environmental responsibility.

This fabric is made from 100% recycled nylon, sourced directly from discarded fishing netsa major contributor to marine pollution. By giving these materials a second life, we reduce the demand for virgin resources and help clean up our oceans.

Here's what it brings to our jackets:

  • Made from 100% Recycled Nylon: The fabric is created using discarded fishing nets, transforming ocean waste into everyday comfort.
  • Certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS): Ensures full compliance with environmental and social responsibility standards across the entire supply chain.
  • Lightweight and Durable: Perfect for daily wear, offering wind resistance, water repellency, and softness—without compromising on sustainability.

From iconic thickened parkas to newer silhouettes, these sustainable materials are helping us reshape warmth with purpose.

Certified under the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), this fabric guarantees that every stage of its productionincluding the suppliers of semi-finished goodsmeets rigorous social, environmental, and chemical standards. GRS certification applies to any product containing at least 20% recycled material, and ours goes well beyond that benchmark.

Whether it's recycled polyester, nylon, ocean-recovered fibers, or acrylics, we are committed to choosing materials that align with a more circular future for fashion. In this fabric, performance meets purposelightweight, durable, and environmentally conscious. At Orolay, sustainability isn’t a side note—it’s woven into the fabric of our designs. Many pieces in our outerwear collection now feature 310T matte recycled nylon, a material chosen for both its performance and its purpose.
