Single-Breasted Hudson Trench

Really love this coat! The material is heavy, but not stiff or bulky. The coat is lined, making it warmer than I had anticipated. The large size I ordered fits well. This coat has everything I want and need in a coat. It's waterproof and a perfect dressy coat for rainy days.

I had low expectations. I was wrong. This coat is great. Classic. Good weight (although by no means a winter coat; more of a fall or early spring weight). Hangs well. Lined. (!) Solid pockets (although not zipped). Well worth the money. I am 150#, 5’7” and I bought a small and a medium to compare; I kept the small and could have even gone with an x-small, but I wanted to be able to wear comfortably over a sweater or even a blazer. My only note (and it’s not a complaint, just an observation) is that this is not a fitted garment; it is more of a classic, bordering on boxy fit. If you want a fitted look, I believe there are other choices with belts, etc., which may better suit that look. I plan to buy this in the tan/camel color as well.

With the English weather in autumn as it is, wet and windy, this coat is ideal. It’s wind and rain proof and looks smart.
