Single-Breasted Hudson Trench

I had low expectations. I was wrong. This coat is great. Classic. Good weight (although by no means a winter coat; more of a fall or early spring weight). Hangs well. Lined. (!) Solid pockets (although not zipped). Well worth the money. I am 150#, 5’7” and I bought a small and a medium to compare; I kept the small and could have even gone with an x-small, but I wanted to be able to wear comfortably over a sweater or even a blazer. My only note (and it’s not a complaint, just an observation) is that this is not a fitted garment; it is more of a classic, bordering on boxy fit. If you want a fitted look, I believe there are other choices with belts, etc., which may better suit that look. I plan to buy this in the tan/camel color as well.

With the English weather in autumn as it is, wet and windy, this coat is ideal. It’s wind and rain proof and looks smart.

This is just a beautifully made coat...raincoat, trenchcoat, topper - no matter what you call it, it's the piece you'll keep reaching for. I found the sleeves a tiny bit long, but nothing a rolled cuff or a tailor cannot quickly remedy. I ordered the Navy and it is a true, deep, navy blue which make the buttons pop. It is easy to button, and comfy at the neck when buttoned all the way up. Nice, deep pockets and a to-the-knee length make this a huge winner for me.
